Allie Spaetgens Caillier Rayne, LA - Funeral services will be held at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Rayne, LA, Monday, June 24, 2013 at 1:00 pm for Allie Spaetgens Caillier, 81, who died at her residence in Rayne Thursday, June 20, 2013. Interment will be in the St. Leo IV Cemetery in Roberts Cove, LA. Rev. Kendal Faulk, Pastor of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Rayne, LA will be the Celebrant of the Mass and will conduct the funeral services. Readers will be two of her granddaughters Alyson Chachere and Blair Corzine. Giftbearers will be three of her grandchildren Morgan Oliver, William Chachere and Eric Bedel. The music will provided the St. Leo IV Catholic Church Choir from Roberts Cove, LA. Meditation time two of her grandchildren will bring up roses to Mary, Madeline Oliver and Kaylee Bedel. Surviving are five daughters, Carolyn Caillier Dyer and husband Larry of Baton Rouge, Arlene Caillier Chachere and husband T. C. of Eunice, Cynthia Caillier Oliver and husband Chet of Rayne, Annette Caillier Corzine and husband Bryan of Rayne, Cathleen Caillier Bedel and husband Danny of Rayne, ten grandchildren, Tyler Chachere and wife Andrea, Alyson Chachere, Wesley Chachere, William Chachere, Blair Corzine, Mitchell Corzine and wife Victoria, Morgan Oliver, Madeline Oliver, Eric Bedel, Kaylee Bedel, one great grandchild, Carson Corzine one sister, Anna Maria Spaetgens Broussard and husband Joseph of Lafayette, two brothers, W. Leo Spaetgens and wife Ruby of Rayne, Anthony "Tony" Spaetgens of Rayne, sister-in-law, Bertha Spaetgens of Rayne, numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by husband, Calvin James Caillier, mother, Josepha Elizabeth Gossen Spaetgens, father, Hubert Leo Spaetgens, three brothers, Joseph Spaetgens, Lawrence Spaetgens, Charles Spaetgens three sister-in-laws, Carol Spaetgens, Barbara Spaetgens, Joyce Spaetgens. She was a life long member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Rayne, LA and a member of The Catholic Daughters of America Court Rayne #844 for 63 years. She was an active member of the Germanfest Association. Her work with the Germanfest Museum was a devoted past time as it highlighted her German heritage. Her family and friends were an important part of her life. She took great pride in following the activities of children and grandchildren. She worked in Customer Service for Rayne Cable TV and TCA for 20 years. A rosary will be recited Sunday, June 23, 2013 at 3:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. at Gossen Funeral Home in Rayne, LA. Friends will be received at Gossen Funeral Home, Inc., Rayne, LA Sunday, June 23, 2013 from 9:00 am until 10:00 pm and Monday, June 24, 2013 from 8:00 am until 12:30 pm. Pallbearers will be her five son-in-laws, Larry Dyer, T.C. Chachere, Chet Oliver, Bryan Corzine, Danny Bedel and her oldest grandson, Tyler Chachere. Honorary pallbearers will be four of her grandchildren, Wesley Chachere, William Chachere, Mitchell Corzine, Eric Bedel and great grandson, Carson Corzine.
